Well, the first generation models of that car, which came out in the years between 1967 and 1969, are a real American classic. The last year of their production, 1969, saw the introduction of a model that even today are sought after by car aficionados.

The 1969 model came with a sportier look than the previous two years, and the heavy sheet metal and grille design, featuring deep set headlights and a “V” cant, are only seen in this particular vintage, which is one reason the car remains high on people’s list. The 1969 Camaro came with two types of specs: a 1969 COPO 9561/L72 427 cu, with a 7 liter, V 8 425 hp (317 kW) at 5600 rpm, 460 lb·ft (624 N·m) at 4000 rpm and a 1969 COPO 9560/ZL1 427 cu in (7.0 L) V8 430 hp (321 kW) at 5200 rpm, 450 lb·ft (610 N·m) at 4400 rpm – impressive specs indeed!

A quick search online reveals various colors and paint jobs, with or without the distinctive central stripe, available for sale and in many different states. Convertible and hard top models are available, along with different material seats. eBay, Cars for Sale, Auto Trader, Car Gurus and Classic Cars are all websites where you can check out the online listings for a 1969 Camaro for sale and in bidding.

From a few thousand dollars, to seventy thousand dollars, the price range is quite varied, based on the condition and original parts still in use, amongst other factors. Mint condition 1969 Camaros seem to be on the higher end of the price spectrum. But whether you are in the mood for a fixer upper or else want one that is ready to drive and will give you the joy of the ride, you can definitely find it via these sites, and there are also dealerships who specialize in classic cars, who will have a Camaro or two available. In fact, there are some certified pre owned dealers too, who list them for sale.
